QCTV highlights “Crashing Through the Windshield”
QCTV HIGHLIGHTS “CRASHING THROUGH THE WINDSHIELD“: Were you ever given the opportunity to do a TV interview or appear in your own commercial? I know influencers and YouTubers do it all the time. But I don’t, and I found it daunting. At the kick-off for the local author fair at the Northtown Library in Blaine, MN this past February, each of the authors had an opportunity to sit before the camera. I thought I was going to have a heart attack, but I didn’t and now am rather pleased with the result. The video was highlighted on the QCTV Facebook page today. QCTV is a community TV station serving the Minnesota communities of Andover, Anoka, Champlin, and Ramsey.

On June 22, I’ll be vying for literary gold! I was named as a finalist in the Midwest Book Awards sponsored by MiPA (Midwest Independent Publishers Association) in the Fiction–Mystery/Thriller Category. One of us will get the gold, and the other two will score silver:
“Founded in 1984 in Minneapolis, the Midwest Independent Publishers Association exists today as a vibrant professional association that serves the publishing communities in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin (https://mipa.org/about/).”
